Nottinghamshire Search and Rescue Team

Welcome....

....to Nottinghamshire Search and Rescue Team! We are a newly established search and rescue team covering Nottinghamshire and are affiliated to ALSAR (Association of Lowland Search and Rescue).

Our organisation is a group of highly skilled and dedicated volunteers working alongside the Nottinghamshire Police to search for, locate and rescue missing and vulnerable people in the community.

NSART is made up of 100% volunteers who are available 365 days a year; 24 hours a day come rain or shine! The callouts we receive are to search for vulnerable missing people such as the elderly, dementia sufferers, despondents, children and anyone deemed to be at risk.

We do not get any funding from the Government, the Police or the Council. We rely entirely on donations to purchase and maintain our equipment and to offer the very best training to our team.

REQUESTS FOR EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE MUST BE MADE VIA THE POLICE - CALL 999 or 112

Recruitment!

We are always looking for new people to get involved with NSART.

At the moment, we are looking for keen individuals to help our Fundraising Team. You don't need to be fit as you won't be called out on searches; you just need enthusiasm and a willingness to get stuck in to help us raise the much needed funds to keep us operational.

We are also recruiting Operational Search Technicians, so if you are interested, please contact the email below for an application pack.

Donate for FREE!

NSART are registered with easyfundraising.com who will give us money when you shop online.

It works in a similar way to many other loyalty shopping sites, but instead of earning points when you shop, you raise a donation for NSART instead. It's as simple as that and costs you nothing extra!

You can shop with over 2,000 well known stores and each will donate up to 15% of what you spend. For example, John Lewis will donate 1%, Amazon 2.5%, The Body Shop 6%, some insurance retailers will even donate up to £30 simply for taking out a policy with them!

To start raising money with your online shopping just click the banner on the left of this page.
